Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo. 94pp. Presumed first (no statement of printing; "Illustrations copyright © 1968 / Jonathan Cape Ltd" stamped on copyright page). Blue cloth, silver spine titles. Near fine with a touch of shelfwear, former owner's name inked on front pastedown, & very light speckling (remainder spray?) to base of textblock. Very good jacket (+) jacket price-clipped with publisher "$4.50" repricing sticker. A couple of short closed tears, light edgewear, mainly at spine ends and tips. Illustrated by Jan Pienkowski. A nice copy of Aiken's 1968 collection of fantasy tales.

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
