When Steiner is murdered, both the chief and his wife come under suspicion and Constable Smith, with plenty of troubles of her own, can't help. Boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. The dustjacket is close to perfect, perhaps a touch of edgewear at the spine ends, no tears, no creasing or chipping, not price-clipped. A collectable copy.
