Sobre este artículo
Matutis A. Negritenok Dzhon [ Little nigger John] / Fig. N. Sergeeva. Kaunas: State. publishing house of fiction of the Lithuanian SSR, 1951, 27 p., ill.; 26 × 20.2 cm
A poetic story about how bad life was for a black boy in the USA, how the capitalist Mr. Smith oppressed his parents and even killed them. After many difficult adventures, almost dying because he was thrown from the ship as a black man, black John is picked up at sea by a Soviet ship. John ends up in the USSR, where he immediately finds wonderful and loyal friends. "Vasya says to John / In the mausoleum - Lenin is sleeping / You and I are his grandchildren / The Banner of Lenin is above us / And Comrade Stalin is with us / He lives here - in the Kremlin / He knows about our marks / Leads the country with him / With Every day the country becomes more and more beautiful / It is wide, it is rich / It is governed by the people / You will not meet gentlemen in it!"
An excellent example of Soviet children's propaganda, developing the myth of solving all national problems in the Soviet Union, with expressive drawings on every page.
Good condition. KVK and VK do not provide information about copies of the book in libraries around the world
