London: Thomas Nelson and Sons. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. The boards are rubbed and the head of the spine chipped. The body of the book is in excellent condition, clean, solid and unmarked. 154 pages, plus 4 of Nelson's Juvenile titles and Nelson's novels. No date offered, which could be anywhere between 1908 to 1927. 5 lovely coloured plates, no name given for the illustrator, and the list does not match the actual page. The interesting thing about this copy is that it has a an award sticker from Rosbercon Girls' Grammar School Brighton, 1931. The school established by the Tisdall family.The two principals are named as Ethel C.Tisdall and Constance Tisdall. Constance was a writer and an important educationist in Victoria.
