Signed, inscribed and dated by the author, James Presley, on the half title page as follows: "For James Lasseter-/May you gain as much/satisfaction from reading/this book as I had in/writing it/gushers of best wishes/James Presley/2002/". Volume itself has green cloth covers with sharp gilt lettering on the spine and the front cover. There is some wear at the head and tail of the spine and at corners. Light brown spotting on the outer edge of the pages opposite the spine. The dust jacket is protected in an archival quality cover. The dj has an approximate 2 inch tear at the bottom of the page on the back cover. Plus the dj shows wear at the top and bottom of the spine and on corners the same as the book. The dj looks quite nice in its protective cover, the tear at the back cover is hardly visible without a quite close look. 543 pages, including an index and a bibliography. A nice, author signed, copy available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
