Based on Michael Ende's 1979 novel. Bastian Bux returns to Fantasia, where the Childlike Empress seeks his and Atreyu's aid in defeating "Emptiness," an evil force controlled by a cruel sorceress. The second film in the NeverEnding Story series, preceded by "The NeverEnding Story" six years prior, and followed by "The NeverEnding Story III: Escape from Fantasia" in 1994.
Set in Fantasia and Vancouver, and shot on location in Vancouver, Canada and San Jose, Spain.
Self wrappers. Title page integral with front wrapper, dated 5th April 1989, noted as REVISED DRAFT, with credits for screenwriter Karin Howard. 94 leaves, with last page of text numbered 93. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus, with light soil and creasing to the first 20 pages, with a silver prong binding.
