Typed slip on the front endpaper: "This book should contain two charts eight inches by twenty-four inches in length. If these charts are not in back of the book, please see your bookseller." The two original charts are present, as well as what appears to be two old photostats of the chart. Previous owner name stamped in green ink on the yellow pastedown, as appears to be usual. There is some old tape residue. The dustjacket is present, with tape repairs and loss. Most uncommon. Very Good binding / Fair dust jacket.
Sinopsis
Science of Survival is a book published in 1951 by L. Ron Hubbard, extending his earlier writings on Dianetics. Its original subtitle was "simplified, faster dianetic techniques", although more recent editions have the subtitle "Prediction of human behavior". It is one of the canonical texts of Scientology. The title of Science of Survival alludes to Science and Sanity, a highly popular work by Alfred Korzybski, the founder of general semantics.
