Sobre este artículo
Boston: Marshall Jones Company, 1910. Total of 1.476 pages in eight volumes, the last volume including an index to the whole series. 10.75 x 8 inch boards in green buckram with gilt titles, gilt edges. Quite a sound and good looking set. Two later volumes, on Alaska and India, were also published, but are not present here. An illustrated set that drew attention to America's new status on the Pacific Rim and the formerly Spanish Caribbean. Vol.I - Hawaii (special article by Henry Cabot Lodge); Vols.II-IV - The Philippines & Japan (special articles by Joseph Wheeler & Kogoro Takahira); Vols.V-VII - China & Cuba (special articles by John D. Long & Leonard Wood); Vol.VIII - Cuba & Puerto Rico (special article by Charles H. Allen).
