Sobre este artículo

Indianapolis: The Bobbs-Merrill Company, 1923. Hardcover. Very Good. Possible later printing, no edition stated on copyright. Black cloth with orange printed labels mounted on front board and spine. Octavo. 303pp. Some pages unopened, modest soiling and foxing on endpapers and page edges, spine label sunned and front board label nicked a bit on one edge, very good. Inscribed by the author to Doctor and Mrs. Richard Derby on the preliminary page, "Presented to Doctor and Mrs. Richard Derby, As some slight appreciation of the great blood which they carry and the great traditions which they represent. Most Sincerely A.E. Wiggam, 2/9/25." Additionally, is a handwritten letter from the author addressed to Ethel Roosevelt Derby, daughter of Theodore Roosevelt, apologizing for an error he had made in the Roosevelt family tree in another book entitled *The Fruit of the Family Tree*, acknowledging that the later printings will contain the correction to the family tree. Wiggam referred to this book as a "new social and political bible" promoting Eugenics and an advanced race. Evidently from his gift inscription to the Derbys he very much approved of the Roosevelt lineage.
