This 1943 issue promotes use of fine crepe paper in an easily dispensed box --- with strength and elasticity to rival "natural leather, wood, raffia, reed, yarn, straw, fur, clay, feathers, fruit, cloth, tapestry, embroidery". Can one ask for more in creating "lamp shades, mats, table decorations, rugs, flower containers, window boxes, gifts, dolls, baskets, belts, bags, and pictures??? A moment in time. American advertisement at its best.
