Marbled endpapers. Ink ownership inscription, dated 1790, with details of leaving school. to first blank page and pencil notes to other blank prelims and rear endpapers. viii, 232 pages. Folding map displaying the two halves of the world showing Captain Cook's voyages, numerous engraved maps including a plate with a rotating geopgraphicasl clock to help show time zones. Inner hinge visible but holding, pages browned otherwise a lovely example of a school text book from the late 18th century.
