Printed as a broadsheet on rag paper, partly unopened, folded to 12" x 10". Slight wear at margins, no text loss. Name of C.H. Phelps written in fore-margin of each issue. The first issue lists prizes in the Essex Agricultural Society Exhibition. Topics in these issues include: Corn Huskers; Garlic; Climate and the Staple of Wool; Galvanic Plant Protector; Exhaustion of Soil; Manures; Making Cheese; Haymaking; The Hessian Fly; Peach Trees; Cow Blossom; Early Suppers; Brewers' Grains; Slobbering in Horses; Preservation of Butter; etc.
