Sobre este artículo
J.G. Short, Lyndhurst, 1876. 2nd edition (but the first to be illustrated with photographs). Folding map at front and 10 albumen photographs mounted on thin card leaves within black ruled borders; these captioned in very light pencil on the blank margins. 8vo (8 1/2 x 6 3/4 inches), 106-pages with 1 leaf of advertisements at end. Original bevelled green cloth attractively blocked in gilt, all edges gilt. Some marking to lower bevelled edge, headbands a trifle bruised. Overall this is a superb copy. Inscribed on verso of front free endpaper "Presented to G. J. Smith, August 29th 1880, by his loving wife Fannie".
