Colour illustrated dust wrapper shows girl in red blazer climbing at tree to the consternation of her school mates below. Black and white frontis. Harder to find in dust wrapper than the version with the hyphenated title The New House-Mistress. Green boards with black titles to front and spine are very clean. Dust wrapper has a large water mark stain to slightly faded spine. It slightly affects the front dust wrapper illustration at the very edge. Some edge wear to dust wrapper include two closed tears and some small chips. Priced clipped and with previous owner's address label to ffep. Very good copy in good dust wrapper . Hardback.
