2 parts bound together in 1 volume tall 8vo. iv, 197; iv, [192]pp., 96 splendid plates printed on light card in gold or silver and embossed with the designs of all of the many hundreds of coins shown, each plate with an accompanying leaf of text describing the coins, tissue guards, contemporary black leather, sides with broad gilt-rolled panel, spine panelled by raised bands with the panels richly gilt tooled, all edges gilt, some light foxing else a fine and particularlly handsome copy.
