Oxford. H.Taunt 1878 Third Edition.. Hardback, Demi 8vo. 6.5 x 4.75 inches. Black cloth with gilt to spine. In very good condition. Some handling marks to boards. Cloth seems to have been lacquer coated. Some darkening to edges of endpapers, neat inscription to front “T.M. King.” Some occasional handling marks and foxing spots. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 170pp. Illustrated with 33 double-page coloured maps, each with smaller inset B&W photograph scenes (100). Folding B&W key map, and separate page of illustrations of Shakespeare’s Birthplace &c. Photo frontis. H.W. Taunt, photographer to the Oxford Architectural and Historical Society.
