Sobre este artículo
London: Macmillan and Co.,, 1867. And we are here as on a darkling plain First edition, scarce in commerce. All but seven of the poems in this volume are printed here for the first time, including "Dover Beach", "Thyrsis", and "A Southern Night", with the others reprinted from Empedocles on Etna (1852). Octavo. Original green cloth, spine lettered in gilt, twin fillet border in gilt on front cover and in blind on rear cover, brown coated endpapers, edges untrimmed, binder's ticket of Burn to rear pastedown. Contemporary ownership inscription of one "T. Truman" and later ink inscription to front pastedown. Spine slightly darkened, cloth lightly worn at extremities, lifting slightly on rear cover, front inner hinge partly cracked but firm, contents clean. A very good copy. Smart 13.
