Fair w spine chips, rubbed & worn but intact covers, cracked (but not loose) hinges, unmarked contents, tight binding. Very rare old German reader, in Old German script. Contains 188 reading samples: articles, stories, and poetry. Overall, this book is in good shape for its age, with scuffed-up but still legible covers, very clean letterpress contents, b/w frontispiece (same as cover illustration) of flower-gathering school children.
