A publication of the Soviet Union during the 'Cold War', aimed primarily at students in the West, filled with essays and articles from the perspective of leading socialists of the period - especially criticisms of American Reagan-era policies and US missiles and bases in Europe and around the world, 'Third World' events and developments, the Middle East, happenings in the Soviet bloc countries, military conflicts around the world in which the USSR had an interest, etc. Many of the authors and editors in this publication were Soviet intelligence officers serving as journalists. An interesting publication, illustrated, 32pp., shows light general wear to covers and along edges or corners, clean and bright internally, a university stamp to cover. Very rare. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" Tall.
