Archibald Constable & Co. Ltd., London, 1908. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Red cloth with gilt stamped spine and front panel lettering and gilt stamped circular emblem (containing authjor's initials) on front panel. The volume is bumped on the corners, is frayed on the spine ends (with depth loss of 1/8" oin the crown), and the spine is suntoned with diminished intensity to the lettering. Both hinges are cracked, the endpapers have off-setting, and the text leaves are lightly age toned.
Sinopsis
New Worlds for Old is an anthology of fantasy short stories, edited by Lin Carter. It was first published in paperback by Ballantine Books in September 1971 as the thirty-fifth volume of its celebrated Ballantine Adult Fantasy series. It was the fourth such anthology assembled by Carter for the series. The book collects fifteen fantasy tales and poems by various authors, with an overall introduction and notes by Carter.
