The true FIRST EDITION, First printing, from 1960 of yet another volume in the beloved Czech illustrator's series of geography/history books for children. 60 pages. NOT the modern reprint. Oversized hardcover folio has bright yellow cloth-covered boards, sturdy, reinforced binding. Condition is VG+: extremely clean & bright, pages creamy white with a hint of tanning to edges, but completely unmarked. Very slight rubbing to extremities & mild corner bumping. NO DJ (missing).
