Sobre este artículo
New York: Wonder City Publishing Company, 1931 A strange little example of published boosterism, exemplified by the subtitle. Not quite a guide book, yet filled with information about prominent New Yorkers, alive and dead, hotels, schools, parks, etc. The second half of the book is virtually a real estate directory with pictures of office buildings, information about architect and builder, height, rental area, etc. First edition. 8vo; 288 pp.; illustrated from photographs. Owner's name; else a good copy in original green boards, in a dust jacket with edgewear to front panel and a chip to head of spine, showing an aerial view of Manhattan at night by Arthur Sasse, taken from a corner of the unfinished Empire State Building specifically for the jacket of this book. Abbot's iconic photograph, from the same perspective, was made two years later..
