Sobre este artículo

New York: F-R Publishing Corporation, 1938. Paperback. 4to. Stiff color wrappers. 64pp. Illustrations, line drawings, advertisements. Near fine. Slightest spine "roll," else exceptionally bold and bright, complete lacking in edge tears. Tight and attractive copy (Volume XIV, Number 9) of the famed weekly begun in 1925. Front wrapper art by Rea Irvin (1881-1972), illustrator who created the iconic Eustace Tilley portrait for the magazine's 21 February 1925 debut issue, depicts a Margaret Dumont-type society woman standing and singing in church, the little girl in the pew in front of her turned around to face her and watch.
