First Edition. Condition: Good; edge-wear to the boards, small split by the upper spine. no DJ. The interior is clean. the first page shows what appears to be a water stain. Slight internal cracking to the spine, the binding still tight. Gilt page edges and gilt lettering on the spine. Note that the date 1899 is shown on the base of the spine while internally the date of publication is 1900. No. 3 Nelson's New Century Library.
