Walters, the vicar of Newnham, dated 1941. Loosely inserted is a handwritten letter on two sides, signed by the author. Illustrated with 10 plates plus a folding map. Spine sunned, occasional foxing, pages lightly browned otherwise a clean and sound copy of a scarce item.

Light browning of the endpapers, else the book is in very good condition; the dustwrapper is in good condition (some rubbing, some chafing of the edges). The dustwrapper has now been put in a mylar cover to protect it.
