Sobre este artículo

Arnhemiae: Jo. Fridericum Hagium, 1658. First Edition. Hardcover (rebound in leather). Very Good Condition. Rebound in full blind tooled calf, modest age toning and browning throughout, heavier in a few spots, a few light dampstains but otherwise clean; small quarto. Three volumes in one, each with separate title pages. (x), 181; (1), 239pp. Bound out of order with 177-181 and 1-58 of the second part bound in the wrong spot; but complete including the blank after the first section. Printed in two columns in Greek with Latin translation. Iamblichus took much of this work directly from Nicomachus. A Neoplatonist and Neopythagorean, Iamblichus was feted in his 4th century Syria, but also a singular voice in the rediscovery of ancient philosophy in Renaissance Europe. Size: Quarto (4to). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Philosophy; Antiquarian & Rare. Inventory No: 045192.
