Sound and square binding, with cloth-backed spine and paper-covered boards. Upper top fore-corner lightly bumped. A couple of tiny soil marks to the boards. Dust jacket has some wear to the corners, particularly the bottom rear fore-corner. Edges are slightly rippled. A edition of the classic poem of Christmas, also known as "A Visit from St. Nicholas". This edition is illustrated with artwork from past editions by children's book illustrators from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. .
Sinopsis
"A Visit from St. Nicholas ", also known as " The Night Before Christmas" and "'Twas the Night Before Christmas " from its first line, is a poem first published anonymously in 1823 . This famous poem helped to cement the image of Santa Claus from the description of his appearance, his transportation, and how he brings the gifts to children on Christmas eve.
