A CIA officer stationed in West Berlin during the Cold War must rescue the wealthy son of an industrialist kidnapped by Soviets, who demand two former anti-Nazi activists in exchange. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Screenplay.

Set in Germany and shot on location in Germany and England.

Blue titled wrappers, noted as FINAL on the front wrapper, rubber-stamped copy No. 2 and production No. 601, dated JULY 7, 1953. Distribution page present, with receipt removed. Mimeograph duplication on eye-rest green stock, rectos only, with blue and white revision pages throughout, dated variously between 7/13/53 and 8/17/53.
