After his first flight (on eagle-back), he has great adventures. Displaying great courage, he rescues a man from a wolf. and for this bravery Nikki is chosen from amongst all the bears in Russia, to be presented to Princess Anne in England. Be autiful illustrations that may have been done originally in crayon or pastel. A gorgeous little book of young children perhaps ages 6-8. Bright, bright sky blue illustrated paper on boards cover, with gold and red bear. Rear cover has smaller illustration of 2 see-sawing bears. Lovely condition - extremely clean, tight. Former owner's name: "To Sandra from Granny, Christmas 1960". Very slight wear to cover edges. Text as new. A nice copy of this enchanting book. Overall cond: v. good+.
