Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1953. First Edition. Near Fine/Near Fine. First edition, first printing. Bound in publisher's black cloth with spine stamped in gilt. Small bookplate to front pastedown, corners bumped and spine gilt lightly flaked, else a very sharp and unusually fresh copy. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with very slight fading but much less than commonly found, light edge wear with color correction made to the top edge of the rear panel. A much nicer copy than usually found, housed in a matching custom red and blue cloth chemise case.
