Stow: Clift & Ryland, 1911 Book. Poor. Hardcover. [ii], 67 pages + 5 plates and a small list of addendum and errata tipped in at the rear. Bound in the original green printed cloth, worn and faded.Bookplate of John Thomas Evans, Rector of Stow on the Wold, to the front pastedown. A few cuttings and notes loosely inserted. The book has been mutilated, presumably by the Rector, several sections and images have been cut out towards the rear and they are pasted onto a sheet of paper, they refer to St Edward's Hall, loosely iserted is a small flyer advertising a meeting in 1925 chaired by Evans on the future of the hall, so presumably cut out for notes for that meeting. When cutting them out, he also went through several pages on either side. Mutilated, but interesting..
