Sobre este artículo

London: Souvenir Press, 1955. Some creasing and small tears to edges of unclipped dustwrapper, including a two-inch tear to the right-hand side of the lower spine. Some bumping to spine ends and corners of blue boards, some yellowing to the pages, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Originally published in Norwegian in 1947 as "Sjetlands-Larsen" and here translated by Kate Austin Lund, the book deals with the Wartime career of Leif Larsen, who served in the so-called "Shetland Bus" organisation during WW2, making 52 trips across to Norway carrying supplies to the Resistance. 232pp, 12 b&w illustrations,. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
