The prospectus announces the Authorized Version or King James Bible of 1611, in three volumes and reproductions of the woodcuts of Bernard Salomon. Advertising, besides the Bible, a Retrospectus of 1953-62.
Description: Stapled paper covers. Octavo: 24 × 15 cm; pp. 7, [1] + [4] pp. [insert from 'Genesis']. Illustrated with 4 woodcuts. Printed by the Stellar Press in Baskerville on wove cream paper, the insert on India paper.
Enclosed: Loosely laid in is the publisher's order form (20 × 13 cm) for the Nonesuch Bible.

Condition: The copy shows some minor signs of age and use. But otherwise a near fine copy with very clean internals.
