Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing very intense towards the start and end of the book. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper and pastedown. Slight cracking to hinges. Boards have some edge wear, with moderate bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are slightly crushed and frayed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Slight creased dent to rear. Gilt is bright. Book has a moderate forward lean.
