Remarkably fine condition with just a portion of the inner margin missing and not affecting the map. Map extends to "the great Plateau of Spokane" in the east and 49th parallel to the north.. 28 plates and sketches and all checked, present, and in fine condition. Index. 435 pages. A fascinating accout of life in the 1850s , mainly from ShoalWater Bay northward in what is now Washington State.
