Sobre este artículo
London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1935. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Publisher's pale blue cloth with black lettering to the front board and spine with the customary blue end-papers. A near fine copy (board edges a little age-toned, spine just a touch sunned and light rubbing to the cloth at the edges). The text block is tight and square and there are NO inscriptions. The D/W is priced 7/6 net to the spine (as called for). The D/W is also in near fine condition. On the verso of the D/W (at the head and tail of the spine) a former owner has applied clear tape and there are a couple of miniscule closed tears and nicks at the edges and rubbing along the joints and the spine is a touch darkened. Overall this is a really nice copy of one of Beeding's most highly-regarded books with its setting in Norfolk and with a superb period D/W illustration of the Tombland district in Norwich. Rare, Photographs/scans available upon request.
