Cloth Hard Cover. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 282 pp., decoratively embossed covers with gilt lettering on the spine, small tag of the bookseller inside the front cover at the corner "sold by Brooks 193 Essex St. Salem", previous owner's information stylishly pen written at the center of the front pastedown " Feb 1854.etc.", a little wear at the top and bottom of the spine and at the tips of the corners of the covers, corners bumped, covers rubbed but spine is in very good condition with gilt lettering clean and bright, from very minor foxing to almost none at all throughout the book but noticeable on the endpapers and the first so many pages and the last so many, book is in very presentable condition considering the age of the book - spine color dark brown, gold - (Bible commentary) BC.

We opened our shop in August 1992 in an out-of-the-way, two-block street, hence the name. Shortly afterward we started getting books that were hard to find, so the name fits there, too. We recently closed the shop and are focusing on our online book business, continuing to provide the same customer care. Our specialties include Engineering and Technical, Christian and other religions, Foreign Language, Military History, and music. We also have classics, biographies, history, politics, and science, sports, law, etc. Please call for any information needed. We are in the Central time zone.
