This is a work that reports on the religious houses, sects, and denominations of the England and Wales as well as the monasteries, abbeys, churches, colleges, and cathedrals in Britain. This 1695 edition features 200 engraved figures of heraldic flags and banners with short descriptions of hundreds of places of worship throughout Britain.

This particular example is unique in that in is bound in dyed-red leather and red fore-edging – an interesting look for a leather-bound book.
