Association copy of the Hungarian art critic's collection of essays about the pathology of artists. Inscribed to Ernst Kállai (1890-1954) the Hungarian art historian who first published his works in Lajos Kassák's magazine "MA". In 1928 he was the editor of the periodical "Bauhaus" in Dessau.


Illustrated with 48 full-page and 20 in-text (five of which are paste-ons) reproductions of works by painters such as Pablo Picasso, Giorgio de Chirico, Georg Grosz, Marc Chagall, Edgar Degas, Jacques Lipchitz, Henry Matisse, Modigliani, Monet, Emil Nolde and Renoir.
