New York: Charles Scribner's Sons. Very Good. 1896. Hardcover. 358 p. 21.5 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Short split to inner hinge but still holding well. The spine and the top lower board edge are faded. Corners are lightly bumped. Light scuffing to boards. Text block edges are somewhat dusty. Previous owner's name and address written on rear free endpaper. A few pages have some light soil. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean and unmarked. Two stories by English author J.M. Barrie, issued as part of a set of his work, of which this is number 8. Includes two black and white plates. .
