Sobre este artículo

Francofurti: Apud Thomam Fritsch , 1714. Second Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 12.5" x 8" x 1.75. Written in Latin. Bound in full leather. Covers are plain with a gilt border at the edges. Hubbed spine is lettered and ornamented in gilt, bearing ten raised bands. All edges marbled. Marbled endpapers. Title page is illustrated with an image of a horse with wings in black and white. Dual columned text. Measures 12.5" tall x 8" wide x almost 2" thick. Loosely translated into English: "The New Testament of Our Lord Jesus Christ, From the Vulgate Version, With Paraphrase and Notes. Henry Hammond. From the English language into Latin he translated it, punished it, and increased it. John the Cleric. Second Edition. Much Improved, and Augmented with a French Edition of the New Testament, with Selected Notes and Others. Frankfurt with Thomas Fritsch." External cover is moderately worn with some damage to the leather particularly at the edges and back. Hinges have cracked, yet boards are very firmly affixed and binding is sound. Leaves are bright with minimal foxing, and pages turn effortlessly. A very nice copy. Due to this copy's size and weight, an additional shipping charge may apply. Full refund if not satisfied.
