First Printing Very near fine in full light blue leather covered boards with gilt text on the spine, gilt borders and text with the image of a child with a fishing pole on the front board and with illustrated end sheets. All edges of the text block are gilt. A 12mo measuring 7 1/2 by 5 inches with light rubbing to the leather at the head and heel of the spine and and to the tips of the boards. Without a dust jacket as issued. This is the publisher's deluxe, leather bound, first printing edition. 103 pages illustrated throughout with line drawings by Ernest H. Shepard.
