Gilt and blue stamped maroon cloth boards, octavos, 638pp. and 546pp., illustrated in b&w. Books have rubbing and edgewear to boards and spines, volume two gilt and blue stamp is a bit dulled in comparison to volume one, volume one has gift inscription to front flyleaf, both bindings are tight, texts clean and unmarked, with faint foxing to edges of blocks.
