Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc, 1937. First Edition. Hardcover. Acceptable. Blue cloth with red titling, soiled, frayed to spine ends and fore-edge corners, dulled with heavy toning to spine. Possibly an ex-library copy: color remnants near spine foot, FFEP and RFEP missing. Inner hinges cracked to mull; binding still secure, and is sound through text. Remnant of a cardstock previous repair laid in at back. Faint pen markings to front paste down, consistent with color transfer as through mirrored from a name inked to the missing FFEP. Foxed through front matter. Pages else clean, text unmarked.

Hardcover, blue cloth boards with red text on front and spine. Exterior shows some toning, spotting and soiling along with fading to the spine. Edges and corners show bumps. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting found. The front end page shows some light crimping along with the lower corner missing but the rest the pages are in good shape the end pages and half title page have a few light pinkish smudge marks but text pages are clean. Each title is numbered separately for a total of 316 text pages.

First edition, good + blue cloth hardcover (no dust jacket) with red letter stamped to cover and spine shows soil and faint staining to covers, light crease to spine, rubbing to cover edges with fraying at ends and corners, small closed tears at top of both front and rear inner hinges, name and date at top of front endpaper, wrinkle and tiny tear at fore edge of half title and with some other mild trace wear. 316 pages with illustrations by John Coleman Burroughs and other Burroughs titles to follow. Still a solid copy of these two short novels offered here for the first time.

Top of the text block stained red and leading edge untrimmed. Neat owner's signature on the front endpaper. Small dulling to the cloth at the lower edge of the front cover. A very good plus copy in a very good, bright dust jacket with faded spine panel and mild edge wear. Seldom found in the dust jacket.
