Leicester: Leicester University Press, 1973. First Thus. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo. 39 pp., xii, 332 pp. + 298 pp. Introduction by Kenneth Allott. A facsimile reprint in the Victorian Library series of the two volume second edition published in 1854. First edition was published in1853. William Arnold was the younger brother of Matthew Arnold. Some underlining in ink with notations on rear flap of dustjacket. Both the book and the price-clipped jacket show some wear, with some rubbing to the jacket. Still a very nice copy.
