Good Antiquarian prose & poetry: Dayton & Wentworth, Boston, 1854 (based on date on back pgs.), HC in GOOD condition. The poetry & the musing & amusing prose with some 'moral and religious sentiment' are outstanding and useful in today's world. The black cover has indented decorative indented design and gilt on all three surfaces including a gilt rose on front and a back. Most of the gilt is worn away except partially on the front rose. Cover has edge wear and corner bumps fr. & back, considerable edge wear to spine ends. Inside, title page & most of f.f.e.p. are missing; some pages are water stained, others lightly tanned or foxed. Otherwise, pages are intact and very readable. An attractive collector's item; good source of introspective reading. Condition: GOOD.
