Binding is shaky, however pages remain fully attached. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Spine has crushing to both ends. Book has forward lean. Unclipped jacket has light edgewear with tears and creasing. Spine is heavily tanned. Sticker to spine.

Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Text block edges are a little tanned with minor scratches. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Silver titles are bright. Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with detached front flap, very heavy tears, chips and creasing. Jacket is rather rubbed and marked overall.

A clean, unmarked and solid copy, though obviously second hand. "this is perhaps only incidentally a story of the gardens.
