Edinburgh: William Laing; and Baldwin, Craddock, and Joy, 1820 A very good copy recently rebound in full morocco leather with title label to spine and gilt titles and date to front board. The binding is in near fine condition with minimal wear. New endpapers and initial and final blanks have been added and there is the bookplate of John Davie Manson Robertson, a noted Orcadian book collector, to the front pastedown endpaper. A previous cover has been bound in with the signature of Francis G Grant to the top. Contents: title; dedication; text pp 5-38. Advert for the forthcoming edition of 'The History of the Zetland Islands' at the rear. The title is browned but the text is only lightly toned and is in very good clean condition with just the occasional light mark.
