Calcutta: Baptist Mission Press, 1834. 136 pages; Complete with 34 hand-coloured lithographed maps, including 3 folding and 10 plates, including the frontispiece of Ootacamund Lake, all but-one hand-coloured. Rebound in a plain textured brown cloth possibly late 1970s near fine, gilt title and gilt number to spine. Contents clean and tight, single no. and date stamp (1979) to the verso of the title page. Appears to be minimally if at all trimmed, certainly the dimensions are larger than the copy sold by Christies in 2004, contents more or less unmarked. A near fine first edition copy with wonderful colour plates.. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Dust Jacket. Illus. by J. Bennett. 8vo. book.
