Published by John Stockdale 1792. 34x36cms and large margins. One fold corner small loss otherwise a crisp and clean folding map. Original full tree calf but lacking the spine [crudely taped]. Large paper copy with wide margins. Very clean and tight text block with original marbled end-papers. Nice hand inscription ''Purchased this at the sale of The Duke of Buckinghams Stowe Library. Jan 18 _1849. H G Crapp.'. [S.Leigh Sotheby & Co. disposed of 20,000 books when the second Duke went bankrupt in a two day sale in the Strand , London]. A SCARCE ITEM. 1st edition. Hardback.
